Empowering Nigerians for the Digital Age

When asked about the motivation behind this initiative, Dr. Ope Banwo, popularly known as The Wealth Apostle, emphasized the urgent need to empower Nigerian youths with digital skills.

He explained:

“I strongly believe that one of the best solutions to Nigeria’s unemployment crisis is to equip our youth with digital skills. We are in a digital era, and the COVID-19 pandemic has shown the limitations of traditional jobs and the immense opportunities that exist in the online economy.”

Program Details

The first phase of the ‘Fish-To-Eat Plus Fish-For-Life Digital Self-Employment Program’ was scheduled to run from Monday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 9th, 2021.
It is a 7-day eVocational training bootcamp designed to teach participants multiple online self-employment options and give them access to tools and mentorship to start earning income within weeks.

The entire program will be conducted online, using both Zoom and a dedicated training portal at www.NaijaLivesMatter.com/fishforlife. It is open to all Nigerians, regardless of location, who register to participate.

Cash Giveaways and Incentives

Every week, participants who complete the training will be entered into a weekly ₦5,000 cash giveaway draw. Winners will be selected randomly and notified after successfully completing their 7-day training.

The number of weekly cash beneficiaries will depend on the amount of donations available, sourced from personal contributions by the organizers and public donations.

Members of the public are encouraged to support the project by donating through www.NaijaLivesMatter.com/donate. Sponsors may also directly sponsor friends or family members, who will be tied to their specific contributions.

Ongoing Support and Mentorship

This forum will provide continuous education, collaboration, and product development opportunities for participants to grow their digital careers and sustain their online income streams.
